Sól is the goddess responsible for guiding the sun, as its name suggests. She has a brother named Máni, who is in charge of guiding the moon, creating day and night.

The two brothers are persecuted by two wolves, the one that tries to devour Sól is called Sköll. This goddess is destined to die in the Ragnarök for this wolf, but the sun will not stop shining, because Sól had a daughter who will replace her in his mission to guide the sun.
