Ragnarök, the day of final judgment

According to the prophecy, the nine worlds are destined to succumb to the end of the world, the Ragnarök (in Spanish means the destiny of the gods).

The arrival of Ragnarök will happen after the winter called Fimbulvetr, after three winters in a row, the end of the world will rise.

The wolves (Sköll and Hati) that chased the chariots of the sun and the moon (ridden by the goddess Sól and her brother Máni) will devour their riders.

Fenrir will be freed from his chains.

Jormungandr (the serpent of the world) will come out of the water to join the Ragnarök.

The fire giants will join and attack Asgard led by Surtur.

Many important gods will die during this conflict:
Odin will be devoured by Fenrir.
Thor will kill Jormungandr, but he will die with the poison of it.
After the death of Odin, his son Vidar, will step on Fenrir's jaw and break his throat, putting an end to the life of the wolf.
Tyr will kill Garm (the dog that Helheim protects), but he will be wounded and die from wounds.
Surtur will burn the entire universe and the earth will sink into the sea.
Loki will untie his chains and guide an entire army to Asgard.

Only a few will be the survivors of Ragnarök.
